About Wendy
Hi! I am Wendy Bernard, professional makeup artist, business owner, Navy wife, and mother of two beautiful young ladies.
My love for makeup began when I was a young adult. I saw the positive effect a professional makeup application could have on a woman's self confidence. I knew right away that I wanted to bring that joy and self confidence as a professional makeup artist. As often happens, life gave me other blessings. Instead of makeup I chose to be a mom and wife, but deep down I always had the desire to be a makeup artist. When my girls became teens I realized it was the right time for me to do what I love.
The Details
I attended The Makeup School by Sarah Rillon and started my own business. Later I decided to learn how to airbrush and attended classes by Leah Laviano at Blushtone. Both Sarah and Leah are amazing teachers and will always be special to me.
I am always looking for the best products and I discovered Motives Custom Blend foundation. I immediately saw the benefit of custom foundation and became certified as soon as I could. I cannot say enough good things about Custom Blends. With traditional applications I use Motives Custom Blend foundation and clients love it!
I am super excited to say that I am teaming up with Christal Marshall and Marshall Arts studio. Christal is an awesome photographer, mentor, and friend. I am looking forward to working with her!
