what we did

Each year we host a Scholarship & College Fair for students to encourage them to network with both local and national Scholarship Foundations, as well as meet with college representatives.

The event helps inform students on how to find and apply for scholarships, federal student aid, and state aid opportunities through guest speakers from organizations such as The Virginia Association of Financial Aid Administrators.

Students also get to meet with nonprofits which accept applications on-site for scholarships. Colleges also bring admissions and financial aid representatives, many of whom waive admissions fees during the fair.
